Amendments to POLI Rules 2011
Postmasters are empowered to accept PLI/RPLI proposals and Sanction Death claims..
Sir, The confidential inquiry about death claims is being done by SDH. Now since Postmaster is empowered to sanction death claims, who will do the confidential inquiry, since the SDH does not work under any Postmaster. Whether Postman can do this inquiry? Or whether this will be routed through The Divisional Head? if so what is the use of decentralization? Please clarify.
