PART A: Promotions and postings

Approval of the Competent Authority is hereby conveyed for Promotion of  the following Postal Assistants, who have declared successful in the Inspector Posts Examination for the year 2011 and 2012 held on 15.10.2011 and 13.10.2012 respectively, to the cadre of Inspector Posts on regular basis in the scale of  Pay of Rs.9300-34800 plus Grade Rs.4200/- after completion of the  field Training &  from the date of assumption of  charge.

          On promotion, the  candidates are allotted to the Region & posted to the offices  shown against their  names.

The above officials on  their regular promotion will be on probation for two years and the suitability to hold the post will be adjudged on completion of their probationary period.  If any official proceeds on leave for a period exceeding thirty days during the probationary period, the period of probation will be extended depending upon the period of leave.

The promotee Inspector Posts may exercise option for fixation of pay under the provisions of FR 22 (I) (a) (1) as amended from time to time within one month from the date of assumption of charge.

            If there are any disciplinary or vigilance cases either pending or contemplated against the officials, the concerned divisional heads/controlling authorities will report to this office before allowing the promotees to assume charge.
