Respected Madam,
Sub: Request to undo the injustice caused to IP candidates passed in the examination of 2009 batch of Karnataka Circle.-reg
Ref:  Memo No STA/7-5/XVII  dated 18-01-2011

This is regarding the injustice meted out to the IP candidates passed in the examination of 2009 batch of Karnataka Circle. The candidates from Karnataka Circle were relieved from PA cadre before joining PTC Mysore for training. But for our surprise many candidates from Andhra Circle were allotted to some regions and posted as IPs in various sub divisions before 31-12-2010. They relieved from the respective sub divisions as IPs and undergoing training at PTC Mysore with pay and allowances applicable for IP cadre. This appears to be a great injustice to the candidates of Karnataka Circle especially with reference to their service matters and future promotional aspects in the IP career. A representation received from IP candidates our Circle along with a copy of orders given to Andra Circle candidates is enclosed herewith for favour of kind perusal.
In view of the above, it is requested to provide justice to the IP candidates from Karnataka Circle on par with candidates of other circles passed in the same examination .
Thanking you
                                                                                                yours sincerely

  2. Dear sir,
It is of no doubt that IPO exam is tough. Many IPO candidates who have cleared the IPO Exam are still left out without any mercy due to non-availability of vacancy in the parent/ other circles. On the other hand passed candidates of the APS are holding lean in their respective circle. As such virtually the vacant post has been filled but practically/ physically the post is vacant. Thus there is a big administrative lapses in this aspect. Steps may be kindly be taken up so as to bring the unlucky IPO passed candidates on par with the IPO.

  4. Dear CS,
In Karnataka Circle, as on date there is a 13 ASP posts are clear vacancies (7 ASPs are promoted to Gr.B last December, 5 ASPs are passed the Gr.B Exam and 1 ASP [Sri.SR.Talikeri] is vacant due to VR.). Therefore, CO can fillup these ASP posts by calling emergency DPC, without waiting for DPC of ASP to PS Gr.B. Hence, kindly takeup the issue with Circle Office and persue the matter favourable to all IPs.
